Configuring Site Integrations

Configuring Site Integrations

A detailed look at configuring your site's integrations.

If you haven't already configured your site, or are unsure how to add an integration visit: Adding a Site to your Client before moving forward.

Let's take a look at an example starting with adding Emergency Services.

For the Emergency Operator Type, you will want to research which emergency services available to the address of the site and note the following as you add them in:

  • You can add or remove as many integrations as you need
  • you'll want to add one for fire, police and and ambulance to ensure full coverage of all incidents
  • before adding these numbers in,*** ensure you call out to them to confirm their validity as well that they are 24 hours***

Now, when a live operator creates an incident that needs to be escalated to the police, ambulance or fire your numbers will show here via the EMERGENCY OPERATOR button.

The number you configured is actionable and if the operator clicks on the number it will bring up the softphone for a quicker outbound call!

Here is what their incident will now look like after you have configured these fields:

Let's take a look at adding Guard Services.

There are 2 different types of Guard Services you can add: DIRECT and SHARED.

A DIRECT guard service is a guard service that your Client works directly with-they will have provided you with a direct number to call out to this Guard Service.

In this case you will fill out the integration as follows:

  • choose DIRECT under the Service Type
  • enter the name of the Guard Service under AGENCY
  • enter in the Guard Services direct line to call
  • any relevant notes you would like the operators to know

Now when your site's incident is created, the operators will have a GUARD button to use to call out to these services:

The SHARED Guard option for integrations, means configuring any guard services we work directly with through our platform.

Currently we are working with RSPNDR which is a network of on-demand licensed guards that we can configure directly into our platform so that your operators can dispatch a guard to a site's alarm. Their software will pick the closest guard service to your site's location (kind of like an Uber for Guard Service)!
