There is no limit to the number of users you can have per account
Are audit logs, Performance logs, Debug logs, Alert, Event, Exception logs available?
Yes. Multiple logs are created to assist in system maintenance, billing, troubleshooting and security.
Can I combine cameras into groups?
Yes. There is no limit in the number of cameras per group, and no limit to the number of groups. One camera can be added to multiple groups.
How can I connect my cameras?
We offer a wide range of connection options and support thousands of camera models currently on the market. For select manufacturers we offer direct integration, cameras that support ONVIF can be added using ONVIF protocol and most other cameras that ...
Does Local Security support my current analog cameras?
Only through hybrid NVR connection.
How do I cancel my account?
Contact your local Local Security Partner Integrator to cancel your account. Early termination fees may apply if you are on a contract.
Can I save video clips to my computer?
Yes, all recorded video can be exported and saved to your local computer. Otherwise saved clips are stored indefinitely in Local Security Library and available as long as your account is active.
Can I produce long-term time-lapse?
Yes. Multiple modes are available to suit your intended application.
How many cameras can I connect?
We do not limit you on the number of cameras to connect or duration of stored footage. The only limitation is a bandwidth of network connections of the site where cameras located. On average, we would expect a 720p resolution camera at 15FPS to ...
How do I change my password?
Follow the link under the "Forgot your Password?" on the login screen and follow the prompts. You should receive an email with a password reset link shortly.
Can I view 32 or more cameras on my screen simultaneously?

Can I service multiple locations from my single account?
Yes. You can control all of your clients from your integrator account.
Is there any hidden fees? (per user, account, site, etc.)
No. We charge either a fixed amount per camera or based on actually used bandwidth.
I have a large account with 1000 cameras – can Local Security's UI support it?
Yes, there is no limit on the number of cameras you can add to our system.
Do I need to install any additional software, a client on my computer to watch my cameras?
No. Both User Interface and Admin Portal are 100% web-based and do not require any additional software (aside from browser like Google Chrome) to be installed.
Can I limit what cameras a specific user can watch?
Yes, specific users can be given access to only a subset of cameras. Furthermore, user permissions for end-users can be customized to provide and revoke the following VMS rights, and save and the clip.
Can I create a security guard account that will be able to watch only selected cameras?
Yes. Multiple levels of user accounts are available. It is possible to set a custom access level for a specific user and limit the number of cameras this user can control.
Can I have separate account for each physical location?
Yes. There are multiple ways you can configure this. Contact your local integrator to determine the most optimal option for you.
On what operating system does the application run?
End User Interface (UI) runs on any operating system that can support a modern browser such as Google Chrome, additionally, we have IOS and Android mobile applications.
Can I set limits?
Yes, you can. Each customer can have limits placed on the account to prevent them from changing the resolution settings for cameras or from viewing the video on too many devices or machines.

Yes. We offer hybrid installation options and will work with you to meet your needs.
When do you delete my data?
All video is saved on a "rolling" basis. As new data comes in we delete the old data to make space in your account. You can increase or decrease the number of days that we save data on your account at any time however we constantly track your data ...

Web User Interface only supports h.264, since browsers support only h.264.

In our region the data can only be stored locally, can we localize the Local Security cloud platform?
Yes. Amazon has AWS servers all over the world and we can create a custom plan for you to store data only on the AWS servers located in your country. If this option is not enough we offer hybrid setups that utilize clients' data servers.
Can I choose length of time my videos will be stored?
Yes. We have plans ranging from live stream only to months of storage time. Additionally, you can choose between 24/7 recording or just events.
