Using the Event tab to Acknowledge Events or Create Incidents

A great way to check to see if you are receiving all the events through the portal when your station is armed is to keep the Events tab open with the appropriate filters:

This will allow you to see all analytic events coming through for your cameras and most importantly will show you if they have been acknowledged.
When they show up as Acknowledged it means that clip was presented to you as an operator on your screen and you hit "OK".

If you see events coming through that are not acknowledged, this means they have not been shown to you as the operator:

You are able to make sure these events don't get missed by doing the following:

1) drag and drop the event from the EVENTS tab into your armed filtered window

2) hit acknowledge or escalate this to an incident by using the toggles on the right hand side

Now that event will update to say ACKNOWLEDGED in your event tab and will appear on the morning report for the customer!
