You will want to first sign into Bounty Hunter with your OWNER CREDENTIALS that have the top tier platform ability to create a new Monitoring Station.
You are able to tell if you have logged in with the right credentials if you see these two language buttons under your name at the top left:
Navigate down to the ACCOUNT tab and click NEW ACCOUNT in the top right.
- Enter in the name of your monitoring Center
- Choose Monitoring Center from the TYPE dropdown list
- If you will be using a phone system within the platform, click on the box beside SOFTPHONE ENABLED and enter in the number under SOFTPHONE NUMBER
- Enter in the CALLBACK NUMBER that an inbound call can reach that monitoring center (this will also be displayed on the softphone interface for ease of remembrance when making a call from this station)
- Fill in the Address of your monitoring center
- Fill out the contact information for your monitoring center as well as a:
-error email address and
-from email address
These will be what your Monitoring Station customers will see when receiving emails for errors and their reports.
**please note, the "from email address" requires further configuration for verification. You MUST contact support to enable this feature. If no "from" email address is specified, the default Local Security emails will be used**
- fill out an invoice prefix (3 characters, 1st 3 letters of your monitoring station name makes it easiest!)
- fill out the invoice starting number and additionally you can add anything to the invoice footer if needed
- Embed the Client Id and Client Secret of the Response Platform that you will be integrating with for Emergencies
- Add any Zendesk Support you would like to integrate by simply pasting your HTML snippet provided by Zendesk in the field required.
then scroll to the top of your page and hit save!
You will be brought into your main account page where you will see in addition to the details you just saved, a few options that you need to add.
1. Hit the link that says Validate Credentials and Establish Webhook. This verifies that the client id and client secret that you entered are valid and from there creates a webhook which allows the applicate to receive notices when events relevant to our system happen in that particular ECC.
Then underneath this, enter in your Integrator API Key which can be found in your Camera Glue platform by logging in as the highest platform integrator and clicking on the API Key tab at the top of your screen.
Hit save on the right hand side to save this and link your platform to your monitoring station!
CREATING A USER FOR YOUR MONITORING STATION
After this Monitoring Station is successfully set up, you will want to automatically create an Owner User within this monitoring station to have full control of your new Monitoring Center.
