Saving a Clip to your Incident

Saving a Clip to your Incident

Creating a saved video clip is an important tool you want to utilize regularly!

Your customers will have x amount of days that the cloud stores their video streaming.
For this example, let's say it's 3 days.
Although the customers are alerted every morning of your work from the night before and it's details, perhaps on the 4th day they realize they need to share a clip to the authorities of a break in! Now, since their cloud only stores 3 days, they can no longer access this footage.

It is YOUR job as an operator, to create a saved clip for any important event and then upload it into the incident share that the customer will receive!

This includes any guard or police dispatches as well as any confirmed suspicious activity.

Let's go through what this looks like together!

To create a clip, simply click on the scissor icon on your camera's timeline and select clip:

move the arrows on the timeline to the correct duration you need, hit save and then give your clip a name:

Once this clip saves, it will now appear in your "Library tab" where you can download it to attach to your incident! :

Let's have a look at additional things you need to add for the customer to receive on their report!

Inside of your incident, you have an attachments tab:

Here you have the option to add anything additional you would like the customer to see on their incident report in the morning.

Some examples of this would be:

1 a picture of a license plate

2 a saved clip you created from the event

3 the shared guard report uploaded to Bounty Hunter

Once that has been uploaded, you can now edit the Share External to Include the attachments:
