After Installing the P&P Module onto the camera you must add it to your Integrator Account so you can then assign it to a customer.
You can Register
- P&P Cameras
- ONVIF Cameras
- Generic Connection Cameras
- Navigate to vmsadmin.localsecurity.org
- Log in using your Previously Created Credentials from the Integrator or account admin
- Navigate to the Cameras Tab
- Click Add button
- Choose Options from Dropdown
- Your P&P Cameras -> Register Camera but don't assign to specific Customer
- Customer Names -> Choose a specific Customer to automatically assign this camera to
- Create New Customer -> Takes you to the Create a Customer Interface, then you can refresh and choose Customer to assign to
- Choose what Camera type
- P&P Camera -> See below
- ONVIF Camera -> See below
- Generic Device -> See below




REGISTERING P&P CAMERA
used to connect to cameras which have the compatible P&P Module installed
- Select P&P Camera Button
- If a New Camera, follow below, if previously registered, choose Existing Camera and move to Step 6
- Enter Registration Code (search "find the registration code" in your local security knowledge base if you're having issues with this step)
- Enter Camera name -> Description name for the location of a camera (if applicable)
- Choose Login Credentials for camera
- Default -> admin/123456
- Custom -> Enter previously assigned Username, Enter previously assigned Password
- Choose Payment Plan for this camera ( if applicable) (search for payment plans in your knowledge base to get more detailed information)
- Create to save the Camera registration information

REGISTER ONVIF CAMERA
Used to connect to ONVIF Compatible cameras
- Select ONVIF Camera Button
- To Connect an ONVIF Camera, ensure the proper settings have been configured on the camera itself and the Router (see THIS LINK)
- Enter the required information on the Setup Page
- Http Access URL -> Direct Link
- Http Port -> The required Port connecting through Router
- Rtsp Port -> Required RTSP Port
- Username -> the Username to directly log into this camera on site
- Password -> The password to directly log into this camera on site
- Confirm Password -> Confirm above correct password
- Camera Name -> The descriptive name of this camera for the Admin Portal notes
- Description -> In-Depth explanation of camera specifics for the Admin Portal Notes
- Quality Preset -> A balance between Quality of Picture and Mb/s of data sent
- Click Create to Save Connection Information

REGISTER GENERIC CAMERA
Used to Connect to Public-Facing Video Streams
- Select Generic Device Button
- Enter Required Information on page 1
- Camera Name -> Camera Descriptive Name
- Manufacturer -> Camera Company
- Model -> Model of the Camera
- Description -> In-Depth explanation of camera specifics
- Enter Required Information on Page 2
- Video Source URL -> Public URL to connect to Video Feed
- Video Source Port -> The required Port connecting through the Router
- HTTP Access Url -> Direct Link
- HTTP Port -> The required Port connecting through the Router
- Username -> The Username to directly log into this camera on site
- Password -> The password to directly log into this camera on site
- Confirm Password -> Confirm above correct password
- Click Create to Save Connection Information
