My Uniview camera stream is a rainbow

If your camera's playback stream or live stream looks similar to this, it is an easy fix.

It may look like it is presenting on the VMS side, but it is due to a configuration issue on the device itself. You'll want to log into your camera GUI and check the U-Code settings.

The U-Code should be set to OFF, when the code is used the results are unreliable.

When you see a rainbow on UNV devices this is usually the culprit. Once configured, send a reboot through to your camera from the camera GUI.
You will also want to ensure the setting is disabled also on the NVR to auto enable the U-Code so it doesn't auto flip back on your camera.
