Local Security Gateway Setup Guide


Step 1: Connecting the Video Gateway

Connect to Network:
Using an ethernet cable, plug in the video gateway to your Local Area Network (LAN).
Ensure that the network does not have a firewall preventing communication.

Power Up:
Plug in the video gateway's power cord to a power source.

Confirmation:
Verify that the lights on the gateway are turned on.
Confirm that the gateway is connected to the same LAN as the demo camera.

Wait:
Allow 3 minutes for the video gateway to fully power up.



Step 2: Registering the Video Gateway

Access Admin Portal:
Navigate to the Admin Portal and select the customer you created.




Add Video Gateway:
In the Cameras menu, use the Add button to integrate your video gateway.
Use the push tunnel and enter the registration code, label the gateway, and input admin credentials.
You can find your registration code on your gateway's box here:











Gateway Interface:
Access the video gateway interface by clicking on the newly added gateway and then the troubleshooting tab.
Use the "Generate URL" button to create a temporary link for accessing the Local Security Gateway.





Step 3: Registering Demo Cameras

Automatic Discovery:
In the Discovery tab, automatically discover cameras on the same network.
Click the Plus button to add each camera to the Cameras tab.





Manual Addition:
Manually add cameras by entering the local IP address and ports.
Verify the cameras' ONVIF user admin credentials and ensure they are online.






Step 4: Registering Cameras in Cloud Management

Access Customer in Admin Portal:
Navigate to the Admin Portal, select the customer, and go to the Cameras menu.

Add Camera:
Use the Add button to integrate your camera.
Use the plug and play (P&P) connection, input the camera's registration code from the gateway portal, and provide ONVIF user credentials.

Billing Plan:
Choose a billing plan that includes Smart Analytics.
Click Create to complete the registration.

Wait:
Allow 5 minutes for the camera to complete registration within the portal before configuring.
