How do I set up Automation Triggers?

To manage your Automations, the site needs to be disarmed, and not in alarm.


1. Click on the Automations tab

2. Click "Manage Automations"

3. To add you first Automation, click in to the Add Type dropdown

4. From here you can choose between Status, Analytic or Disposition.

Status
Armed - when armed, notifications work and it will show events
Disarmed - when disarmed, it won't record activity

Disposition
This is to prevent unwanted or criminal activities from happening or stopping them as they’re taking place. 
This will set an alert for trespassing, vandalizing, or participating in unwanted or illegal activity on your property. 

Analytics
The main purpose of Analytics is set an alert of any unauthorized or unwanted activities capture by cameras promptly.
These are set based off of the Analytic triggers. (Ex. Person, Vehicle, Animals, etc.)

5. Click the plus button to add your chosen automation

6. Click the "Frequency Limit" field and enter the time in minutes.

7. Click Add Filter

8. Each Trigger type has its own filters: For Status, you can choose from Armed or Disarmed. For Analytic, you have choices from Person to Car to Animal etc. For Disposition, it can be anything from Normal to Life in Danger.

9. Once you have chosen your desired Filter, click the plus button to add it.

10. Click the "Frequency Limit" field and enter the amount of minutes you would like this to fire.

Note that it must be longer than the parent trigger it is listed under.

11. Click Add Action.

12. From here you can set what type of action is taken, whether it's a Webhook, Audio, SMS, or Email

13. Once you have chosen your action you can click the plus button to add it.

14. From here, you can configure the actions.

For Webhook, you will set a Frequency, Webhook Method, URL and the Message Contents.
For Audio, you will set a Frequency, the Audio Group(s), and Message Type.
For SMS, you will set a Frequency, Phone Number(s), and Custom Message Type.
For Email, you will set a Frequency, the Email(s), and Custom Message Type.

15. Once you have entered your chosen Automations, you can click save.

16. Upon saving, you will see the breakdown of your automations. If you want to see them in their own window, you can click the pop up button.

"Analytic" Automations only trigger when the site is in an Armed status.
