How do I Set Up Arming/Disarming Rules

Configure Arming and Disarming Rules for a site

In a Client Site, after Arming Rules have been activated you will see an Arming Rules tab.

Here, you can set up which days of the week and what hours of the day you need an Arm or Disarm to happen on.
You will create separate rules for Arming and Disarming.

For "Days of Week", in the dropdown, you can choose any where from one to seven days of the week by clicking each individual checkbox.

When selecting the time of day by using the "At*" button, you can choose the hour of the day, and when prompted after choosing the hour, you can choose 00, 15, 30 and 45 minutes.

After you fill in the Days of Week and At fields, you can choose whether that rules is for an Arm or Disarm.

You also have the ability to add a Note to each Rule you create.

To set up Holiday Rules and Exceptions, you will click "Add Holiday Rule" and "Add Exception"
When you choose a Holiday List Country and Region the "ON*" Field will update to all Holidays for that location. Here, you will need to set up and Arm and Disarm Rules Separately for each holiday as desired.

For Exceptions, you will choose the day range and timeframe that the system will operate the exception for. The exception will be "Do Not Arm" or "Do Not Disarm" during your desired timeframe.

Before saving, you can click the "Validate" button - located next to "Save" - to see what is expected of the Arming/Disarming.

You can see in the Results that all Standard Rules, Holiday Rules and Exceptions are showing as expected.

You may exit the Validate pop up and click Save to finalize you newly set up rules.
