Explanation of the Alerts Interface

There are three different Tabs within the Alerts Interface. There is where you can create alerts, setup a schedule for alerts, and all other decisions related to Alerts

  • Alerts
  • Webhooks
  • Settings
  • Daily Report

ALERTS TAB

  3. Notifications about System State -> A push notification informing a customer what state of the system is in
  4. Create Sensor Event -> Create an Automated Alert based off Camera Activity
  5. Create System Event -> Create an Automated Alert based off the system changes
  6. Entries per page -> Choose how many Alerts you see on the page, choice of 10/25/50/100
  7. Reset Filter -> you can filter Alerts by multiple columns. This button resets those back to default
  8. Column Configuration ->Choose which columns you can see on the main Alert Interface
    1. ID -> Unique Database Identifier for each Alert
    2. Name -> See Below
    3. Event Type -> See Below 
    4. Type -> See Below 
    5. Disabled for all until -> See Below 
    6. Disabled for self until -> See Below 
    7. Modified at -> See Below 
  9. Reset Settings -> Resets Column Settings to default
  10. Refresh -> Refresh Page to see any changes
  11. Name ->  Descriptive name of the Alert
  12. Event Type -> Sensor or System Alert
  13. Type ->  More detailed depending on Alert settings ( Motion, Object detection, etc)
  14. Disabled for All until -> Time until Alert re-enabled (If Applicable)
  15. Disabled for Self until -> Time until Alert is re-enabled for the currently logged-in User ( If applicable)
  16. Modified at -> last time Settings were changed with specific Alert



WEBHOOKS TAB




SETTINGS TAB

This is used to determine overall settings for Automated Alerts for all Users. Regardless of settings here, all events are logged in the Logs Tab. This is only used to determine what Notifications are actively pushed. Because this affects all Alerts, it is recommended to set up individual Alerts with their notifications, Schedule settings, and leave System on "Armed" status ( for example different managers working at different times)

  2. Settings Tab 
  3. Armed -> Choose to always have Alert Push Notifications active at Date and Time
  4. On Schedule ->Schedule your Alert Push Notifications using 24-hour time clock
    1. Yellow Squares are Active  half-hours for notifications
    2. White Squares are Inactive half-hours for notifications
  5. Disabled -> Turn off all Alert Push Notification
  6. Default Interval -> How long between each Alert Push Notification minimum for emails
  7. Save -> Save your Changes made to this Customers Alerts



DAILY REPORT TAB

Used to enable or disable a Daily Report. This will give you a Report each day as an entire list for all Alerts on the all the cameras

  1. Alerts Interface 
  2. Daily Report Tab 
  3. Enable Daily Report -> Activate daily reports sent out to chosen users
  4. Disable Daily Report -> Disable Daily Reports
  5. Add Contacts ->  Add Users into receiving daily reports
  6. Delete Contacts -> Remove users from receiving daily reports
  7. Save Changes -> Save any changes made in the Daily Report Tab
