Closing an Incident

Closing an Incident

You can use the CLOSE INCIDENT button from your action buttons once inside an incident in the top right hand of your screen but you will be unable to perform this successfully until some actions have been completed.

You will produce an error if attempting to close without completion.

Incident Closure Checklist:

1. your notes are marked as external so the customer can view them on the incident share report

2. Make sure all the ACTION ITEMS from the bottom of the screen are:

-checked off and completed for each list (if there is more than one type of incident)

-have been notated to the fullest extent in the notes section and toggled to SHARE EXTERNAL

3. the customer share page is updated with any attachments that need to be added to the incident share (including pictures and additional clips)

When this has all been completed, now you're ready to click the CLOSE INCIDENT button to close the incident.

This incident, if needing to be revisited, will show up in the INCIDENT LOG under the INCIDENT TAB from your left hand menu.
