Adding a Camera to a Site

Adding a Camera to a Site

Once you have created a new account in Bounty Hunter and created all relevant sites for your account, you are ready to add cameras to your individual sites.

You can do this by navigating to the account and clicking on the site you would like to add the cameras to.  Click the ADD DEVICE button to add.

To add a new camera, you can search by VMS camera name or VMS camera ID and it will auto populate your camera along with the coordinates.

For the Camera ID you can grab it from the VMS portal and enter it into the Camp website.

From here you will want to fill in any critical notes associated with the camera, give the camera a zone number and description for testing purposes and enable the device's health check.

Hit SAVE in the top right to save your camera to the Bounty Hunter Platform.

Once added in, your camera information will be displayed as follows:

You will have a bar at the top showing you:

if your VIDEO STREAM is Online,
if ONVIF is enabled
if ANALYTICS are turned on
if MOTION is enabled
if the camera was TESTED
and the health of the SCENE CHANGE DETECTION.

The device brand, model and quality settings will also be notated here.
You will also have the option to view the camera in your VMS Camera Glue portal by clicking on the View in VMS button on the top right of your camera screen.
